Today  I gave a horn lesson to a 7th grader at another school in our county. He is pretty good! I went down to our "pond" and took lots of pictures!

Day 24 - Monday, January 24, 2011

Not a very eventful day...school......then home. no swimming:( I just have many applications to fill out for summer leadership camps and much needed studying to get done. I also need to work on my things for Governors Honors..even though I know I don't want to go, and if I get in I will eventually decline.

A beautiful Sunday afternoon with not much going on. I went over to Jared's and our tennis plans were canceled...luckily some game was on though. (ps...I still dont know how to play football)

Day 22 - Saturday, January 22, 2011

Regions again today! I came in 13th out of about 100 on my 50 free. It was by .03 seconds....yeah sucks right? Well on my 500 I swam a 6.44!!!!!!!! I'm happy! I moved up 2 places! Rachel and I got matching shirts! We though this was funny. Payne said that we would look desperate though...haha

Day 21 - Friday, January 21, 2011

I got home from swimming my 500 at regions and saw this beautiful sky in front of our house! I just HAD to get a panoramic shot. Anyways, at regions I placed in the top 6, which means that I have to come back for finals tomorrow night. Hopefully I will bump up my ranking. That is what I am planning on doing. I swam a 6:51....which is WAY worse than what I swam last night. (a 6:47) I am hoping to get down in the 6:40s at least tomorrow.

Today we had our last dual meet!!! It was sad....and it was senior night, so everyone got there stuff and everything. Well, here is Jessi and Josh because they are like oh so cute together!!! :D

Day 19 - Wednesday, January 19, 2011

Today was our last swim practice!!! It was an easy practice, but I am still sad that our swim season will be over this weekend...I'll still go to the gym and workout and everything, but I'm sad I won't be able to see any of my friends! Especially the ones that I practice with that don't go to my school!! We have a meet tomorrow, and then I have to go swim the 500 prelims on Friday, and Saturday is the rest of Regionals and finals for my 500. I'm just glad all I really have to worry about on Saturday is my 50 free. Well...wish me luck!

Day 18 - Tuesday, January 18, 2011

It is the first day back to school, so that means I get a new pencil case/holder/pouch! My mom made it for me and it is so pretty! Today was just alright. My teachers are all pretty nice....so far. (considering I only have 2 new teachers) I'm not looking forward to Spanish this semester. I don't think it will be too great since my two Spanish buddies aren't in there! At least I know people though! It could be worse I guess!

Today is our last day of freedom for the students in our area! I am going to spend my day babysitting and then hitting up the gym! And I am sporting my new shoes I got for $15.50 at Old Navy....:)

Jared bought me this necklace without me knowing yesterday! I got home and he had put it in one of my bags! I was schocked haha. It says 'amore' meaning love. Although he did not know that when he bought it, it still is sweet...and pretty!!!!!!

We went shopping today! i used my babysitting money, and I bought so much clothes! I kind of feel guilty...oh well! Old Navy was having a really big sale and at the mall they were having post-Christmas sales as well! I still have some left and am getting some more on Monday. Hopefully, I won't spend THAT money that quickly though!

Today when I was babysitting we walked back into the woods because Sam said that there was a little lake back there. Walking back was such an adventure! haha. We got back there and it was so beautiful, breathtaking really!

I babysat today! We made this snowman and it actually didn't take as long as we thought! It was taller than me though, so the top parts of it were EXTREMELY hard to get on. We had several failed attempts at doing so. Jamie didn't really help, just me and Sam!

Today our neighbors came over and used our hill for sledding!!! This is their little one, Callie, as she's watching them have so much fun! She made a snow angel too, and her snow suit is so adorable!

Today we were off from school again! YAY! Tomorrow we will be too! I am planning on building a snow fort this week if the snow does not turn into ice! Otherwise, I think a good snowman will have to suffice. The bad thing about school not being in session is that we are going to have to make these lost days up ....on our OTHER vacation days. SO SAD.

SNOW DAY!!!! We were supposed to start back to school today, but we got about a foot of snow!! It is crazy! We have never had this much snow since '93 where we live!!!! Today is the best day ever! We are off tomorrow too!

Today was All-State auditions!!! It was a very interesting trip riding down and back for 8 hours total with the middle schoolers!  Etude room was amazing, sight reading..not so much. Welll, results will be up soon.

Jamie has wanted Ramen Noodles every day this week since he saw Sam with them! He loves them with lots of "water" (broth). I took a picture this picture of him after he ate a big bite. He smiled REALLY BIG and had some in his teeth!! He is too cute! I will miss babysitting him and Sam since school is starting back in a couple days.

We played outside A LOT today while babysitting. Bandit always will bring me his toy reindeer to throw as soon as he sees me! He is such a smart dog too!!

Day 5 - Wednesday January 5, 2011

I babysat again today! Things went a lot smoother too; no smoke detectors going off! We played outside, and this is the little boy, Jamie, that I babysit. He loves to ride around on his motorized, chargeable "Gator".

Day 4 - Tuesday, January 4, 2011

As you can see, this is a grilled cheese sandwich...well more like a killed cheese. I babysat today and while I was making grilled cheese for myself and for Sam, the smoke detector went off! I freaked out! I was screaming and running around and worried that the fire department was going to show up! All that time I was running around, my grilled cheese was still on the eye, transforming into what you see here. I actually did eat it! And it tasted okay! (With a little burnt edge to it;) The smoke alarm ended up going off twice, so today was very eventful..!!!

Today is Monday and because my mom and siblings are out of town, I've been staying with my dad since Sunday night. Well, today I had no plans, nothing to do, so I went to work with my dad. This pretty much describes my day...A mocha in the morning, and then the laptop. I watched the cartoon Atlantis on the DVD player too! ..But it died       xp

My new burlap TOMS came in about a week ago, and I loooooovvveeee them!! They were only $54 and they match pretty much everything...! I'm hoping that later on I can get some white ones to paint!
